E. Joy Morris
Edward Joy Morris, sometimes written as E. Joy Morris or E. Joy Morris II,[1] was a prominent carousel builder and designer active during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. His companies, the Morris Chute Company and the E. Joy Morris Carousel Company, operated out of Philadelphia and were active from around 1896 to 1903.[2] He continued to design carousel animals after Philadelphia Toboggan Coasters (PTC) purchased his company.[3][4][5]
E. Joy Morris designed the Figure Eight Toboggan, and the ride was built by Morris Chute Company.[6][7][8]
