The first bandstand was a performance space south of the Colonnade.[1][2][3] It was built around 1895[4] and replaced with a newer, larger Band Shell at the park in 1910 for larger performances[5] but the original bandstand remained at least until 1913, when a wedding ceremony was performed.[6]
