The first bandstand was a performance space south of the Colonnade.[1][2] It was built around 1895[3] and replaced with a newer, larger Band Shell at the park in 1910 for larger performances[4] but the original bandstand remained at least until 1913, when a wedding ceremony was performed.[5]
