Zarro, a show-goods manufacturer from Cincinnati,[1] designed and built the original building and some of its exhibits. It was located east of the theater and offered refreshments and amusements.[2][3][4] It replaced a set of restrooms and candy stand that existed as far back as 1901.[5] A restaurant was built in the Colonnade's north end.[6] The building was torn down for the 1922 season.[7]
