Little is known about the '''Airplanes''' ride at Olentangy Park. This could have been the successor to the [[Flight Tutor]] rides since they lasted until the park's closure in 1937. The "Aeroplane" or "Airplane Ride" at similar parks was a [[Circle Swing]] type ride. This airplane ride was sold to the Haenlein Brothers' Zoo Amusement Park the following year.<ref name="historian">Barret, Richard E. "Olentangy Park: Four Decades of Fun." Around 1927, the Circle Swing at Olentangy Park was changed from boat-shaped cars to airplane-shaped cars and rebranded as Airplanes. The ride was sold to the Haenlein Brothers' Zoo Amusement Park the following year.[1][2]. The ride was razed at Zoo Park in 1956 after Floyd E. Gooding of the Gooding Amusement Company bought the park after the death of Leo Haenlein.[3]
